Signature North East

Signature North East, an established estate agency located in Whitley Bay, has recently unveiled their Signature Lounge. This luxury wine bar and restaurant is integrated within the company’s headquarters, providing an enhanced experience for their valued customers.
As part of their six-figure office and lounge refurbishment, they wanted to upgrade their website to reflect their market position. Their vision was to create a mobile-first user interface (UI) that aligns with the service they provide to customers. Additionally, they sought to integrate their website with their estate agency software using an API.
To achieve our objectives, we divided the project into the following stages, planning, UX design, frontend and backend development, testing, and launch.
As part of our pre-migration planning, we carried out a thorough review of the current website’s usage and conducted a technology due diligence review. Our team discussed roles and responsibilities and established planning, design, and development sprints.
We initiated the design process by organising a UX workshop involving all stakeholders.
During the workshop, we gathered critical information, identified key performance indicators (KPIs), and defined the user personas to understand the various users of the website and their specific needs and goals. Based on this information, we developed customer-centric wireframes to ensure that the design would be consistent with the client’s and users’ requirements.
After wireframing the initial pages, we developed a prototype in Figma, a UX application. We shared the prototype with the client for feedback and input weekly, ensuring that the project included all relevant stakeholders and reflected the business’s needs.

After successful prototype testing, we commenced frontend and backend development using WordPress. Custom pages were created, and draft content was added. We then tested, analysed and deployed the site from user acceptance testing (UAT) and pushed the website live.
Results
Customer inquiries have increased since the site was launched and overall the bounce rate of new visitors has been reduced. Thanks to the website’s software API, the staff can effortlessly streamline property updates, which instantly appear on the website.
